Bengaluru AI Startup CEO’s Arrest Reveals Motive Behind Son’s Murder in Goa
Goa, January,9: According to the some portals, initial inquiries into the startling case involving the arrest of a Bengaluru CEO for the alleged murder of her 4-year-old son in Goa has a disturbing motive. Sources disclosed on Tuesday that the accused committed the crime to prevent her ex-husband from accessing the child, following a court decision granting him visitation rights, but it is yet to be confirmed.
Goa Police cautioned that the press persons that this angle yet need to be verified and however clear motive for this murder is not yet ascertained.
Goa Police, in conjunction with their counterparts in Karnataka, detained Suchana Seth, a 39-year-old CEO of a Bengaluru-based Artificial Intelligence startup, in connection with the alleged murder of her four-year-old son at a service apartment in Goa.
Sources indicate that the court had mandated the accused to allow her former husband to meet the child once a week, specifically on Sundays. The ex-husband is employed by a reputable company.
After the court ruling, the accused traveled to Goa, where the tragic incident unfolded at a service apartment in Candolim, North Goa.
The discovery of bloodstains in the room she occupied brought the incident to light when noticed by the housekeeping staff. Subsequently, the accused checked out, carrying a large suitcase, purportedly en route to Bengaluru. Suspicions arose among hotel staff when they inquired about the child, prompting the accused to claim that he had been sent to a relative’s place.
Alarmed by the bloodstains found in the room, hotel staff reported the incident to the police. Acting on this information, Goa Police coordinated with Karnataka authorities and alerted a taxi driver transporting the accused.
Upon reaching the National Highway, the taxi driver stopped near a police station as directed by the Goa Police. Authorities discovered the lifeless body of the child in the trunk of the car inside a suitcase.
The deceased child’s body was transferred to the mortuary, and the accused was taken into custody. Goa Police secured a transit remand for Suchana Seth, and she is expected to be transported to Goa by tonight. The investigation continues as authorities delve into the tragic circumstances surrounding the incident.
